The Moon Harbor Chicken and the mildly spiced Red Curry are other highlights that showcase Phở Saigon Star’s ability to balance traditional flavors with subtle contemporary twists. Notably, the option to customize your pho with extras like rare beef, brisket, or tofu elevates the meal, allowing for a tailored and indulgent experience.

One guest raved about how the pho was “well prepared and organized” with “everything hot,” highlighting the clever way the veggies and meat are separated for optimal freshness. Another praised the “great broth flavor” and generous portions, paired with a peanut sauce that leaves a memorable impression. The star of the show, for many, is the broth itself—slow-cooked daily from scratch and infused with lemongrass and aromatic spices, delivering a comforting and soulful depth that is hard to beat.
In summary, Phở Saigon Star is not just a meal; it’s a heartfelt homage to Vietnamese culinary tradition, executed with consistency and care. If you’re after a bowl of pho that warms your soul or dishes that transport your taste buds to the bustling streets of Saigon, this gem on South University Boulevard is a must-visit. I ordered off DoorDash (for pickup) Everything was well prepared and organized. The food was HOT—which is what I look for. I loved how the pho was packaged. Everything was in a bowl with the veggies in a separate plastic part (separate from the meat) in the bowl. It was perfect for when I ate my food at the park. The food tasted AMAZING. Honestly one of the best bowls of pho I’ve had. The broth was genuinely perfect and light. Everything tasted wonderful and I can’t wait to go back for more!
I ordered A grilled chicken pho and beef spring rolls for delivery for the first time and the food didn’t disappoint. Great broth flavor and good portions. The peanut sauce for my spring rolls had a great taste. I got very full and not to mention their reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning in person!
1st time ever we have tried the spicy version of traditional noodle soup, it turned out to be a great choice! The broth is made from beef bones, cooked for hours, made fresh, from scratch, every day, — traditionally how’s done; unlike other pho restaurants using tubes to mix soup. We ordered the Central Pho Combo, it has this very nice lemon grass zing in it, with just a lively mild spice (you can choose spice levels), and FRESH meat & vegetables, generous portions! One of the kind authentic noodles, we haven’t seen it anywhere else in Denver or Colorado.
Decent standard right near DU’a campus. Ordered the pho with brisket and it was above average in terms of flavor and richness. Portion is just ok for what you pay, but on a cold, cloudy day it hit the spot.
